On December 4, 2021, the 2nd Battalion, 363rd Regiment hosted a Dining-Out event presided by our Director of Security, LTC Henry Empeno. President and CEO of the UArizona Applied Research Corporation, Mr. Austin Yamada, was honored as a guest speaker for the Black Scorpion event. During his speech, Mr. Yamada reflected on his 9/11 experience while working at the Pentagon serving as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations and Combating Terrorism from 2000-2003.
The military dining-out is a formal dinner function and long-standing military tradition for members of a military organization or unit. It provides an occasion for Soldiers and their guests to gather together in an atmosphere of camaraderie, good fellowship, and fun.
Thank you to all who have and continue to serve.
